Deluxe!

Nintendo did a great job with the re-release of mario cart 8. They took so much feedback from the community and fixed every issue I had with the game along with adding new modes and characters.

The best change is a small quality of life update where when you finish a race it defaults to next race instead of highlight reel. This is AMAZING! Now you can mash A as much as you would like!

5 new characters! Along with many variations for a bunch of other characters. This means no more fighting over who gets to be yoshi!

They also revamped the battle mode so that now its actually fun again! The laziness to turn regular tracks into battle mode instead of making an arena was amazing to me. But now all is good! they even added different variations like coin runners and shine thief.

New tracks, cups and vehicles have been added as well.

Overall a great update to make this game actually worth buying and also gives me a reason to bring my switch around to play spontaneous multiplayer with friends. It will be interesting going forward when we will have to pay to play online to see how many people are going to put up the extra cash.
